For ScrapMechanic survival, you can upgrade all your vehicle parts. I made the upgrades for driverseats, driversaddle, piston and sensor. I also updated the highpoly and added new textures for the first, original parts.
All of the upgradable parts were baked and textured using Substance Designer. That way, I could reuse a lot of the elements and change color when needed. Most of the all the graphs I made looks like this; Blue is normal, Red is diffuse, Black is spec, Green is gloss and Yellow is emissive. I always used the same mask for all of the different textures (gloss, diffuse etc.). So if I would re-bake the ”Color map from Mesh”, the textures would all update with the new mask.
